Isaac, Jean
Jean passed away peacefully at her home in Chemainus on Vancouver Island on October 31, 2011. Much loved wife of Harry Norman, mother of Claire and Alison (Keith Douglas), grandmother of Ian and Robyn.
Jean and Harry came to Smithers from Toronto in 1988 and with the family established Driftwood Lodge on Old Babine Lake Road, as a fishing lodge and Bed and Breakfast destination site for visitors, local meetings and wedding celebrations. They retired to Vancouver Island in 2005.
The family held a private funeral and cremation on November 3rd in Duncan. Many thanks to Dr. Tanis Morris and the Community Home Care Nurses for their care and support.
