1923-2006

On October 11, 2006, the Lord called home our dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother.
Jannie was born in Steenwijk (OV) Holland on May 7, 1923. She was working as a clerk in her parents’ grocery store where she met Ralph. They were married in 1959 and moved to Smithers, B.C. While in Smithers they were blessed with five children.
In 1986 they moved to Chilliwack, B.C., and enjoyed many years of retirement.
Jannie will be fondly remembered by her husband Ralph, her children Alice (Gilbert), Rosalie (Walter), Henry (Marianne), Jannie (Denis), Ann (Alex) and 13 grandchildren. Her faith and love in her Lord was evident in her whole life. She will be deeply missed by us all and we thank our Father in Heaven for all that He has give us through her.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, October 13, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Chilliwack.
