all blessings flow.
On Tuesday morning, July 8, the Lord, in His boundless compassion, took His son, our son, father, grandfather, and brother, Henk Hofsink, to be with Him in glory.
Henk was born in Heemse, the Netherlands on June 13, 1934. He immigrated with his family in Nov. 1950 to Houston, B.C. He worked in the lumber industry for about 40 years. He went on to work in the Hotel industry until he retired two years ago.
Henk will be missed by his family:
Sons George (Natalie) Hofsink-William, Richmond, B.C.; Clarence Hofsink, Vancouver, B.C.; Trevor Hofsink, Edmonton, Alta.; daughters Anne (John) VandenHaak-Andrew, Edmonton, Alta. Jonathan, Christopher, Alyson; Margaret Vatcher Ð John, Mitchell, Ottawa, Ont.; mother Geertje Hofsink, Smithers, B.C.; brothers John (Grace) Hofsink, Chilliwack, B.C.; Murray (Liz) Hofsink, Smithville, Ont.; sister Jenny (Warn) Devries, Smithers, B.C.; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial service took place on July 10, 2003 at the Bethel Reformed Church in Smithers, B.C.
Family expresses their deep thanks and gratitude to Dr. Strauss, the nurses from the third floor of the hospital, home care nurses and home support staff. Thanks for your wonderful care for Henk during the last two years.
