Passed away Nov. 8, 2007, in the Bulkley Valley District Hospital at the age of 82 years.
Jack was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Burnaby, B.C. In 1966 he moved to Telkwa along with his lifelong companion, Bernice, to open Telkwa Meats.
A veteran of World War II, Jack stayed in the valley until his passing.
Jack is survived by his step-daughter Vera (Bruce) Paget; granddaughter Debbie and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and one sister and many, many friends.
A service of remembrance will be held Wed. Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. in the Smithers Legion.
If friends so desire, memorial donations in Jack’s name to the Smithers Legion will be greatly appreciated.
Cremation was requested. Arrangements were entrusted to the R.A. Schrader Funeral Home, Smithers, B.C., 847-2441.
