J. George Camille Rossignol
Born May 15, 1924 went to be with our Lord on January 3rd, 2011.
Lovingly remembered and missed by his beloved wife Liv, of 53 years, his children Anita Jones (Randall), David Rossignol (Janice), Louise Menzies (Gary), Denise Rossignol (Bob) and grandchildren Sarah, Elysa, Breanna and Ashley. As well as many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
George proudly served our country overseas in WWII. He began his career as a Locomotive Engineer with CNR in Vancouver, eventually settling in Smithers where George and Liv raised their family. In 1987 after 40 years of service with CNR, he retired then they moved to Kelowna. Recently they moved to Langley to be closer to their children.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 10th, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Langley, BC. Interment took place at the Gardens of Gethsemani, 15800 - 32nd Ave. Surrey, B.C.
