Duff: Ivy Orleana
Mom was granted her freedom following her battle with cancer on the 12th of September 2002 at Lakeshore Place in Kelowna at the age of 79 years.
Ivy was born in Melfort, Sask. and moved to Prince George in 1951, raising her children and supporting her husband Orval in his business.
She moved to Kelowna in 1969, and loved every minute of the area, her home, garden and family.
She loved to travel to Arizona each winter until 1995, and took such pride and love with her flowers and her home.
Predeceased by her husband Orval in 1995, survived by her four children: Carol (Terry); Ray (Sandy); Howard (Lorraine) and Lori (Bob) and also her six grandchildren.
Funeral Service was held from the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, B.C. on Monday, September 16, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Westereng officiating.
