It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Paul Herman Veltmeyer, RPF, at the young age of 51. Paul passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 3, 2015 in his home in Coquitlam, B.C. after a very brief illness. Born in Brockville Ontario, he was predeceased by his younger sister Cora and father Hans.

He will be missed by his wife Susanna, son Sean, daughter Millika, stepson Tony, mother Jetty, brother Andy (Lennette), nephews Chris (Jessica), Mike, Joshua, extended family and the many friends he made in his travels and ventures over the years.

Paul loved BC and its forests and spent most of his life working and recreating in them. He was dedicated to his family and sought to better the world around him with a keen sense of humour, hard work and caring for the communities he lived in and people he met along the way.

A celebration of Paul’s life was held on Saturday Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at the Coquitlam Alliance Church 2601 Spuraway Ave Coquitlam, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation. Condolences may be offered at burquitlamfuneralhome.ca
