Henry was born in Assen in the Netherlands on January 24,

1951. In 1954 he immigrated to Canada with his parents

and 10 siblings. His oldest brother was here already and his

youngest brother was born in Canada.

Henry remained single all his life and he lived in Houston BC

where he graduated from Houston secondary. After graduation he worked as an automotive parts man, his last job as parts man was at Nadina Truck Service Ltd.

Mintzy loved the outdoors and enjoyed heading into the bush to get his winter supply of fi rewood, but his favourite times were his yearly fi shing trips with his relatives and buddies to the Cranberry or the Queen Charlottes. The hardest time this year, after he became ill, was that he had to miss his fishing trip.

Henry was called home by the Lord on December 4, 2011

while staying at the Rotary Hospice House in Prince George.

The Lord has released him from pain and suffering and he is

now resting in peace with his Saviour.
