God saw you getting tired,

And the cure was not to be,

So He wrapped you in His loving arms,

And whispered, “Come with Me.”

You suffered much in silence,

Your spirit did not bend,

You faced your pain with courage,

Until the very end.

You tried so hard to stay with us,

Your fight was all in vain,

God took you in His loving arms,

And saved you from all the pain.

Lila Lattie and family wish to thank and honour Chief Geel and Chief Dawamuuk and house clan members for embracing our father all thru his earth life until his passing. Hamiiya nuu’m loosim – siipin’m nissim.

Our gratitude goes out to family and friends who brought food and the unconditional outpouring of love and support. Especially to the doctors and nurses both in Hazelton and Prince George and at Hospice House for the awesome care our father received. May God bless you all!
