Faith Anne Lee passed away peacefully at the Bulkley Lodge in Smithers, BC, on Mother's Day.
Beloved wife of Larry Lee; daughter of Louise and Orville Zielaskowski; daughter-in-law of Lewanda and Robert Lee; loving mother of Randy Lee and Christi Heck; grandmother of Steven Lee, Derek Lee, Branden Lee, Michael Lee and Jordyn-Anne Kennedy (J.Bird); dear sister of Michael Zielaskowski and Cherry Zielaskowski. Cherished and sadly missed by nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.
Faith led a very full life. She attended Oregon State University where she met and married Larry Lee on February 28th, 1964. They settled in the Bulkley Valley where she worked as a referral clerk for Fish and Wildlife. She was very passionate about wildlife and nature. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Her nickname was 'The Ladybug'. She also enjoyed shooting and teaching archery, achieving Provincial and National Championship in the Canadian Archery Club.
Family was very important to Faith. Especially having everyone gathered at Babine Lake for Christmas. She had the kindest soul and never thought poorly of anyone. Her cup was always half full. To know her was to love her!
At the age of 60, Faith was afflicted with Alzheimers. Throughout her disease she never lost her sense of kindness and grace. Her smile could brighten anyone's day and she always had one for you!
A Celebration of Life was held on May 22nd in the Pioneer Place Activity Center. Donations in Faith's name would be appreciated to the Bulkley Lodge, PO Box 360, Smithers, BC V0J 2N0.
