It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunty, Sister- in-Law, Cousin, Friend and Matriarch Emma Derrick 'Skokumhalyte'.
Emma is survived by her children Roberta & Sharon, 6 grandchildren (who knew her as 'Mom') Christine (Delvin), Alissa (Cody), Samantha (Daniel), Nick, William & James and 4 Great-grandchildren Bee, Aaliyah, Mateo & Ember. She is also survived by Helen Joseph, Annie Joseph, Nick Joseph Sr. (Pauline), Jules Joseph (Joan), Roberta Brown (Bruce), David Joseph, Jackie Joseph (Scott), Norma Joseph and Evelyn Roesel and children, Moe Brown & family and Virginia Pierre & family.
Emma was predeceased by both her parents Steve and Mary Joseph, her husband Robert Derrick as well as her siblings Patsy, Patrick, Marty, John, Nora and most recently departed only 3 short months ago, Walter.
The sudden passing of Emma left a hole in our hearts like no other, but we are finding peace and comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain or suffering in this cruel world, and she was met by all those she loved who left before her.
We love you with all our hearts Mom, and will miss you forever. Until we meet again.
