May 21, 1933 - July 22, 2018
Elgin Edwin was born in Kennedy, Saskatchewan to James and Ethel Muir. The family moved to British Columbia in 1942 and eventually settled in the Bulkley Valley. Elgin had a very strong work ethic and could fix just about anything. he did many jobs over the years such as sawyer at TF and M Sawmills, truck driver, low bed and equipment operator and retired as a heavy duty mechanic.

Magaret (Peggy) Louetta was born in Smithers to William (Bill) and Beryl Miller. She lived in the Bulkley Valley for her whole life and she was proud to call it her home. She loved to socialize and visit with her family and her many friends. Peggy's first job was at Phillips and Shepherds in Telkwa and then she spent 28 years working at Safeway. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering in the community and line dancing.

Elgin and Peggy were married in Telkwa on April 6, 1955. During their 62 years of marriage they raised 5 children and enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and great grandsons. You could often find grandpa in the garage fixing toys, bikes and vehicles. Grandma loved to spend time visiting with grandkids and looked forward to attending all of their events, from sports to drama and music. They were both very proud of the families' achievements.

Elgin and Peggy are predeceased by their parents, Elgin's twin brother Arnold and brother Luther, their son-in-law Mike Vander Meulen, and their brother-in-law Mike Hemelspeck.€They are survived by their children Cliff (Faye), Alvin (Lilly), Brent (Shari), Judy and Blair (Deanna); their 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandsons; sister Patricia Steiger (Abe), sister Jean Hemelspeck, sister-in-law Joan Muir and many nieces and nephews.

They are missed but we take comfort in knowing they are together again.
