Douglas Vernon Campbell

January 10, 1954 – December 1, 2011

Doug passed away at the age of 57 at his home. He was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He worked for the CNR as a conductor and baggage man. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time riding horses and hunting. He was predeceased by his father, James A Campbell and one brother James Campbell. He will be remembered by his friends, his mother, Eunice Campbell and six remaining siblings: Jessie (Stewart) Campbell of Cochrane, AB; Angus (Karen) Campbell of McLeod Valley; Duncan Campbell of Oregon; Sue (Ken) Yerex of Kelowna, B.C., Stewart (Janice) Campbell of Kelowna, B.C.; Lorna Hughes of Saanichton, B.C.; Bruce (Roxy) Campbell of Vancouver, B.C. and Sister in law: Diana Campbell of Langley, B.C. He has one son, Benjamin Campbell from Vernon, B.C.

Memorial to be held in The Old Church, Smithers, B.C. January 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment at McLeod Valley Cemetery, Alberta, June 15, 2012.
