~ Our Sister ~ Our Aunt Dorothy
Passed away peacefully in the Bulkley Valley Hospital on 2 Dec 2023. Dorothy was born on 4 July 1944, in Smithers to Bill and June Cocks (nee Giddings).
She loved her horses and was also the catcher for the Telkwa Pub, a ladies softball team in her early years. She graduated from nursing school in 1966 as a psychiatric nurse and then took some time off to travel the world.
Dorothy was predeceased by her mother and father and brother Thomas.
Dorothy is survived by her sister Yvonne Mickelow (Bonnie), and her nephews Paul, Tim and niece Yvette Embry (Jeff).
Rest now dear sister, Aunt Dorothy, you are now with Mom and Dad, Granny and Granddad, in heaven, until we meet again.
