Dorothy (Dee) Adell Drummond

Dec. 17, 1912 to Jan. 27, 2011

Dee was born in Calgary to Henry and Hazel Small. At a young age she moved to California where she completed her schooling. Dee returned to Canada and settled in Victoria where she met and married Leslie Drummond. They moved north to Quesnel. She is survived by her son Bruce (Lynda) from Quesnel as well as a grandson Russel and his family. Dee will be remembered for her great ability of childcare for countless families in Smithers. Her passion for bowling is displayed by numerous trophies on her walls and shelves. Dee passed away after an extended stay in the Smithers Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Blouw, the Bulkley Lodge staff and the third floor nurses for the compassion and care they gave her. Thanks also to R.A. Schrader Funeral Home as well as her many friends for their kindness. No service will be held by Dee’s request.
