Doreen was predeceased by her parents Eva and George Middleton, her brothers Isaac and Daniel, and her sisters Caroline, Celestine and Genevieve.

A funeral service was held at St. Joseph’s Church on January 20, 2003. Doreen’s family thank the Ladies of the Royal Purple for participating in the service and providing the excellent luncheon after the funeral.
