“Mr. Fix It”

Donald Edward Moffet passed away March 12, 2009 surrounded by his family, wife Olga, children, grandchildren and other loved ones in the Bulkley Valley District Hospital at the age of 67 years.

Don is survived by his wife of 36 years, Olga, daughters Daphne, Valerie, Sheila, Joan and Lavern, sons Mervin, David, Allen, Ken and Shawn. He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brothers Jack and Leroy and sister Connie, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Don was highly regarded in the community and will long be remembered for kindness, generosity, loving nature and dedication to his family and friends. A loving man whose spirit of strength, support and generosity will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.

“Miss me a little, but not for long,

Go on with your life — laugh and be strong.”

A memorial service was held on March 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Smithers Elks Hall. Donations to the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children or to the B.C. Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Cremation services were entrusted to the R.A. Schrader Funeral Home, Smithers, B.C. “Service with Dignity.”
