He is survived by his three children, Bruce (Marilyn) of St. Albert, Alberta, Pat (Ron) Marhauer of Terrace, B.C., Scott (Sandi) of Edmonton, Alberta, four grandchildren, Mike, Kate (Grant), Brandon, Reece, and great grandson Clark. Also mourning for his loss is his brother Alan (Mary) of Edmonton, Alberta, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Jean, his parents Harry and Flora, and two brothers, Malcolm, and Harry. Cremation has taken place. As per his request there was no formal service, however, a memorial tea was held at the Legion on Oct. 13, 2011.
