Lawrence, David Lloyd passed away peacefully at home in Houston, B.C. Aug. 31, 2008 with his family at his side.
David was born on Jan. 25, 1940 in Praire Echo, Alta. He will be greatly missed by wife MaryAnn, his four children, Anna Marie (Glenn), Leona, Cindy (Shayne), Brian (Lea) and his nine grandchildren, Jade, Jesse, Aaron, Michelle, David, MacKenzie, Kenedy, Carson and Calum. He is also survived by sister, Phyllis, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes to the Community Cancer Care Unit would be appreciated and can be made at the BV Hospital in Smithers, B.C. or by mail to P.O. Box 370, Smithers, B.C. V0J 2N0.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bastian, Dr. Morry, Dr. Bestvick, Lynn Sherville, Jenna Ziegler and all the staff at the BV District Hospital for the extraordinary care they gave to Dave. Also, many thanks to our many friends who generously gave of themselves for the support through this very difficult time. A very heartfelt thank you to Nathan Paaul.
