Born in Montrose, Colorado on March 31, 1936. She passed away while surrounded by family, at Kelowna General Hospital on Thursday, September 6th, 2018 at the age of 82.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, James Lenard Dalley, and four daughters, Charlotte Witwer (Tim), Connie Henderson (Duncan), Jacqueline Dupas and Sandra Pelsma (Willy), Her ten grandchildren, Aaron Henderson (Brandi), Jennifer Pelsma (Bo), Stephanie Cummins ( Daniel), Carrie Borle (Dale), Nikki Coles (Danny), Everett Dupas, Danielle Hagen (Lars), Will Pelsma (Sara), Ryan Dupas (Tara) and Tyrell Pelsma (Sandy) and her 18 great-grandchildren, Locke, Layla, Jase, Aidan, Rachel, Nolan, Dylan, Zoe, Logan, Alexis, Star-lynn, Wren, Shelby, Raegan, Elyse, Presley, Ocean, Lea. She is also survived by her twin sister, Rosemarie Seal. And predeceased by her bother, Max Seibert.
Claralee was a long-time resident of New Hazelton, B.C. from 1972 to 2007. She and her husband, Jim, then moved to West Kelowna. She loved music, especially the piano. She loved to make big pots of chicken noodle soup, bake apple pies and fresh bread. She loved to sew clothes and grow flowers. She loved children, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the care workers and nurses of Interior Health for their loving compassionate care of Claralee. A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 10, 2018.
