Carl Wilhelm Sandberg was born April 13, 1933 in Prince George. Carl passed away on Dec. 29, 2007, after an eight year battle with cancer.
Carl married an had two children in Prince George. The family then moved to McBride, Kitimat and then Smithers for the last 28 years. Carl owned and drove truck for Esso/Chevron Bulk Stations for 35 years.
Carl was happiest spending time with family and friends around a bonfire. He loved to sing old songs, tell stories and hug everyone. We would like to express our gratitude to the nurses and doctors of the BV District Hospital, ,with a special thanks to Lynn Shervill, Dr. Strauss, Dr. Bastian and Loretta Mehr.
