Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin & friend to many. Bev passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a short and courageous fight against cancer.
Bev is survived by her husband John, her children Mike (Jeanette), Angela (Jerry) Young, Charmayne (Bob) Carlson, Crystal (Drew) Cook and grandchildren Dannielle, Erin, Clayton, Stephen, Yaishia, Taryn, Colby, Kayla and great granddaughter, Anaka,
her sisters Irene Johnson, Helen Bruhjell and Audrey Ebert and brother Mark Oulton. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Bev was born here in Smithers and lived many years in Smithers involved in the community. John and Bev were married on July 5, 1959 and shared four children.
The family would like to invite friends and family to come to celebrate Bev’s life at the Glenwood Hall on September 24th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Glenwood Women’s Institute.
