BELLICINI, DOROTHY MARY passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Bulkley Lodge in Smithers on March 13th at the age of 89 years.

Dorothy was born in Prince Rupert on August 14, 1921 and at the age of 22 married Murray Alexander Mackenzie in Vancouver and they were blessed with their daughter, Mary Jean. Murray sadly passed away in 1947 and Dorothy moved back to Prince Rupert. It was there that she met and married Morice Henry Bellicini. In 1954 they moved to Houston where Morice did various jobs and Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for Buck River Logging, among other companies.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Mary Jean (Wes) Moll of Houston, grandchildren Bob Moll (Tracey), Rick Moll (Denise), Tim Moll (Jodi) and 4 great grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by husbands Murray and Morice.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 24th at 2:00 pm in the Houston Community Hall with Rev. Debbie Bentham officiating. Interment will take place in the Houston Cemetery. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will follow at the Houston Legion. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to a charity of your choice.
