Auburn Henry Farrow
Auburn was born in Penticton on March 3, 1922 to parents Henry Cresswell and Helen Verna Farrow. He was weary and longed to go home, so he went to be with his Lord on December 15, 2004.
Smithers was a special place for Auburn. He lived and worked here for many years and after retiring to Kelowna, always looked forward to his visits “home” as he called it.
Auburn lived a full, content life. He had a contagious laugh, whistled wherever he went and played the harmonica whenever the occasion arose. He was so proud of his family and during his final days expressed over and over again “We have such a wonderful family. I love them and they love me.”
Auburn will be missed by all who knew him and is survived by his wife Carroll, Kelowna; Daughter Sharon, Williams Lake; Son Cress/Marilyn, Smithers; Daughter Cheryl/Bruce, Smithers; Son Calvin, Smithers; Son Robbin/Cathy, Alberta; Daughter Lavonne/Gordon, Alberta; Daughter Sherri-Anne/Ron, Kelowna; Brother Brice/Kay, Vernon; Sister Doris/Everett, White Rock.
