Arthur was taken to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
He was well loved and cherished by his church family, who he was a part of for the last 20 years. We will miss his cheerful attitude and friendly smiles.
Although Arthur faced many hardships and difficulties in this life, his child-like faith and trust in the Lord was a good example to us all, and we can rejoice that he can now live with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in peace forever, free from the brokenness of life.
He loved our good God, and He knew where his forgiveness was found, and most importantly, where his salvation was found - in Jesus!
Some of Arthur's final words that he wanted to share with others were the words of 1 John 4:7:
"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God".
Always in our hearts, Members of the Smithers Canadian Reformed Church
