In Loving Memory ~
Armin was born November 12, 1954, in St. Boniface, Manitoba. In his 68 years he accomplished many things: a Certified Millwright and Machinist as well as a Private and Commercial Pilot. He was a competent bush pilot, his career began in the Northwest Territories serving fishing, hunting, and mining camps. Then on to Smithers and Northwest BC.
As an avid outdoor person, Armin enjoyed fishing, camping, skiing and fall firewood hunting with friends. He spoke often of his adventure down the Nahanni River. In his younger years he travelled internationally and explored Canada later in life.
Although single in life, women did have a soft spot for Armin, no doubt about it. Armin enjoyed music-blues, country, folk and good old rock and roll. He was a man of few words, but well read and an informed individual who spoke his mind. Joke telling was an art for Armin "2 guns with no guns" was a character he portrayed well.
Armin was predeceased by his parents from Edmonton, Alberta. He did have other family members, but we never got to meet them.
"FLY SAFELY" on both wings old friend, you won't be forgotten. Your friends and acquaintances will re-member you with fondness.
A Celebration of Life is planned for this fall.
