Anya Helena Kawerninski

Sonia and Michael Kawerninski wish to announce the recent death of their daughter Anya Helena Kawerninski on May 30, 2021 after fighting a very difficult 15th month battle with leukemia.
She was very passionate about her many years of nursing in the emergency and ICU at Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace BC. Her life was completed with her many outdoor sports fishing, hiking, travelling overseas, camping, canoe trips to the Arctic and of course her garden and the house she and her husband were building.
She leaves behind her younger brother Jeremie and her loving steadfast husband Tyler. Her friends colleagues and students rallied around her and their support cannot be measured. Anya was a bright, creative, outgoing happy and generous spirit always with a giggle, that left a mark on us all.
A Celebration of Life is going to be held in Terrace on September 13 at 13:30 hrs at the Skeena Golf club reception area,
