Annie Wilson

Annie passed away peacefully at the Bulkley Lodge where she spent her last nine years.
Annie was born in Wales and came to Canada with her family in 1927. She settled in Smithers where she married her husband, George. They were blessed with two boys, George and Dave.
Annie was an avid hockey fan and could always be found at the Totem game, wrapped in her blanket. She also enjoyed curling and bowling. She lived most of her life in her house on the corner of King St., and Broadway, and could be found working in the garden, chopping wood or hauling coal.
Annie will always be remembered as a strong, feisty lady. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was loved and will be missed by all.
She is survived by sister Margaret Oulton; sons George (Susan) and Dave (Rita); grandchildren Cheryl (Kevin), Daryl (Jackie), Tracy (Roy), Leanne (Jamie) and Kim; and great-grandchildren Christina, Michael, Stephanie, Amanda, Matthew and Amy.
