Allen (Al) Miller passed away at home July 30, 2002.
He was born in Kamloops, October 1, 1938, and was raised in the Quesnel area.
Al is survived by his wife, Jean, sons, Lyle (Fernie) and Bryce (Coral Harbour, Nunavut), his mother Julia Miller/Eric Olds (Hope), sisters Gloria Miller and Marsha Schaffer (North Vancouver), brothers Ron (Loretta) Darwell, Alta., Laurie (Rose) Coquitlam, and extended family.
He was predeceased by his father, Jack Miller on December 25, 1944.
Al worked in logging in Quesnel and Squamish. He also worked many years in Woodfibre. Al moved to Smithers in 1973 and was employed by Public Works and the B.C. Buildings Corporation (BCBC-1974-96).
Since retirement Al enjoyed meeting his friends down at the Cotswold Cafe on a regular basis, as well as getting together with family and friends.
The funeral mass was held on August 5, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Church.
