Alice Eleanor Kindrat
Aug. 21, 1928 to Jan. 29, 2014
Alice was the heart of her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew her. She was very active within the community, which allowed her to touch the lives of many people living in the Bulkley Valley. Alice spent a large portion of her life living in Driftwood, raising her six children with her husband Paul. A Celebration of Life will be held at Glenwood Hall in the early spring, as Alice would have wished.
Grannie,
A wife, a mother, a grannie too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Scholtz, the staff at Broadway Clinic, and also to the nursing staff at the Bulkley Valley District Hospital.
