The Village of Telkwa council and staff are smiling from ear to ear these days with the news they are a finalist in the United Nations Liveable Communities Awards.
Telkwa was nominated on the basis of their Community Sustainability and Resiliency Plan, completed earlier this year.
The awards ceremonies take place Nov. 22 - 26, 2012, in AlAin, United Arab Emirates.
