Van taken for joy ride

A van was stolen over the weekend and taken for a joy ride. The RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in solving this crime.

On July 28, 2012, the Smithers RCMP received a report a Chevrolet Astro van was stolern from the 1600 block of Main Street.

The van was taken between 11:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m..

The suspect(s) took the van for a spin and then left it a short distance away.
