UPDATE: RCMP release more details about missing man John Tattersall

Tattersall was reported missing on June 22, family say unusual for man to be out of touch

Police have released more details about a man who was last seen on June 21 and reported missing June 22.

Since initially reaching out for public assistance the RCMP has been following up on leads and now believe that Jonathan Tattersall was driving a black 4-door 2016 Scion iM with BC licence Plate LK1 67F.

They have also updated the description of the clothing he may have been wearing including images of an orange jacket and green raincoat. He is still believed to have been wearing black shoes, black pants, green sunglasses and a t-shirt with No Frills written on it.

Tattersall is described as a caucasian man, 38 years old, 5 ft 11 in and 170lbs with long brown hair.

Police are very concerned for Tattersall’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for so long.

Anyone with information can call the Smithers RCMP at 250-847-3233 or Crime Stoppers.
