THE MAN killed in a motor vehicle accident yesterday has been identified.

THE MAN killed in a motor vehicle accident yesterday has been identified.

Donald Gibson, 64, of Red Deer, Alberta was in one of two tractor trailer units which collided .5km east of Gitsegukla early yesterday afternoon.

A man in the second unit was injured. He was treated at Wrinch Memorial Hospital and then released.

“The road conditions were very poor at the time of the collision. “ says Cst. Trevor Mack of the RCMP’s North District Traffic Services.

This incident is still under investigation.

The highway was re-opened to traffic last night after investigators were finished at the scene.
