On Jan. 25, the Smithers RCMP received a report of a vehicle stolen from a residence located in the 1800 block of Princess Street in Smithers.
The vehicle is described as a 1996 teal Nissan extra cab pick-up.
The vehicle is believed to have been stolen during the night of Jan. 24 or the early morning of Jan. 25.

The Smithers RCMP want to remind the public to ensure that vehicles are secured when left unattended and that if valuables are to be left inside the vehicle to keep them out of plain sight. Parking vehicles in a well-lit area is also a good way to deter potential thieves from targeting a vehicle.
