New Hazelton RCMP are looking for the person or people responsible for putting up graffiti around the community.

Since May 24, police have received four separate reports of vandalism to property where someone has spray painted different places in the area. In some cases, individual names were spray painted with derogatory comments made.

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said the paint is similar in each case and it is possible the same person(s) is responsible for each incident.

The police continue to investigate and hope the public can offer information that will lead to the identity of who may be responsible.

If you have any information you are asked to contact the New Hazelton RCMP at (250) 842-5244.
