The 65-year-old male driver of a motorcycle from Houston that was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Highway 16 at the Suskwa Forest Service road turnoff on June 27 succumbed to his injuries last week and past away in Vancouver.
So far investigators have been able to determine an eastbound pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer was turning left off highway and the motorcycle was traveling eastbound as well.
The motorcycle collided with the side of the flatbed trailer as it crossed the westbound lane of the highway, consequently ejecting the motorcyclist.
The investigation is still ongoing.
