Man hit with eggs while walking his dog

Youth were warned about their behaviour after tossing eggs out a vehicle to a man walking his dog.

A man walking his dog on Oct. 20 was pegged with eggs while he walked his dog on the 3000 block of 8th Avenue.

Police received the report around 10 p.m. that day. They said the man reported that the persons responsible drove by in a maroon SUV.

Police patrols eventually located the vehicle in the Safeway parking lot and found with it three youth, two males and one female, all whom admitted to throwing the eggs.

The driver of the vehicle was issued a violation ticket for driving contrary to restrictions — in this case having too many people in the vehicle being a new driver. The youth were warned about their behaviour however the RCMP did not pursue any charges of mischief.
