There was once again a number of alcohol related incidents on the weekend according to the New Hazelton RCMP. There were several impaired driving complaints reported and there were numerous suspensions given out and three vehicles were impounded, according to Corporal Don Wrigglesworth.There was also a variety of intoxicated individuals out and about and improperly dressed for the cold temperatures. One such individual was found running down the middle of Highway 62. When approached he informed the RCMP that he was trying to complete the Terry Fox Run. Concerned for his safety, the RCMP took the individual back to the station.
