Houston RCMP seek witnesses to firearm incident

Houston RCMP responded to a report of a male brandishing a firearm in the 3100 block of Hagman Crescent.

On Dec. 12 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Houston RCMP responded to a report of a male brandishing a firearm in the 3100 block of Hagman Crescent.

Information received was that the suspect may have been arguing and/or threatened two other individuals.

Prior to police arrival, the suspect departed the area in a white pickup truck. It was subsequently stopped and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

A loaded firearm was located and the accused remains in custody.

To date, the two alleged threat victims have not been identified. Police are asking the two involved persons to come forward. They are not suspects in any offence at this time. However, police wish to understand the nature and circumstances of the incident that lead to the initial 911 report.
