The office for the Village of Telkwa is closed now until further notice due to flooding concerns, the Village's website said.
Tax payments can be made at your bank and the Home Owners Grants can be claimed online.
The Telkwa Emergency Shelter is at the fire hall on Highway 16.
Any information concerning the river levels can be found by calling the Emergency Centre at 250-846-5700.
