Files show Enbridge lobbied federal government

The JRP allowed questioning of Enbridge officials surrounding lobbying efforts with federal government officials.

Tim Leadem, counsel with Ecojustic, on behalf of Forest Ethics Advocacy, received clearance from the JRP to question Enbridge officials regarding their lobbying efforts with officials from the federal government.

Files show Enbridge met with officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Natural Resources Canada and the Finance Department, as well as MP’s and senators.
