The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako released the following update today on evacuation alerts:
Effective Friday, June 03, 2011, 10:30 a.m. the Evacuation Alerts for Ebenezer Flats and Quick Station Road, both within Electoral Area “A” (Smithers Rural), are rescinded.
The Evacuation Alert for residents in the vicinity of N. Bulkley Post Office Road in Electoral Area “G” (Houston Rural) remains in effect.

Since that release, the Town of Smithers have announced that they have rescinded the evacuation alerts for the 2100 block of Riverside Street, the 2700 block of Pacific Avenue, the 2100 block of Main Street and 4200 Rosenthal Road.
