Elderly couple missing in northwestern BC

RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in locating John and Margaret Fuller, 82 yrs and 77 yrs respectively. They were last seen at Oliver Lake in Prince Rupert where they met with family for lunch.

RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating John and Margaret Fuller, 82 yrs and 77 yrs respectively. They were last seen at Oliver Lake in Prince Rupert where they met with family for lunch.

John and Margaret had traveled from Courtenay to Prince Rupert with their niece and nephew. After meeting for lunch, John and Margaret departed to Smithers where they were scheduled to meet their family members at a local motel that evening. John and Margaret did not show. The group had a back up plan in the event they were separated to meet the following morning (Tuesday September 13) at the Smithers Information Centre. They did not show up there either.

Descriptions are a follows:

JOHN FULLER is 5’7″ – 160 LBS. Last seen wearing a gray/brown sweater with a checkered shirt underneath, grey/brown pants, white socks and sandals.

MARGARET FULLER is 5’3″ – 130 LBS. Last seen wearing a white knitted cardigan.  She uses a wheelchair.

The couple was driving a 2011 Honda Odyssey with a BC licence plate DLP 144

Anyone who may have seen the couple or their vehicle is asked to please contact their local police.
