Thursday morning, the Ministry of Environment, together with the Northern Health Authority cancelled the Road Dust Advisory for Smithers/Telkwa, as well as Houston and Burns Lake.
24-hour average PM10 values dropped below the provincial air quality objective of 50 micrograms per cubic metre.
The 24-hour average in Smithers/Telkwa fell to 12 from yesterday's high of 58 micrograms per cubic metre.
PM10 values dropped to 44 in Burns Lake and 13 in Houston.
The Ministry of Environment attributes the drop in PM10 values to the recent precipitation in the region.
