The Town of Smithers has cancelled it state of local emergency this morning as the flooding emergency no longer requires prompt coordination of action or special regulation of persons or property to protect the health, safety or welfare or to limit damages to property.
The emergency state was issued for the 2100 block of Riverside Street, the 2700 block of Pacific Avenue, the 2100 block of Main Street, and the 4200 block of Rosenthal Road.
