Last week Billabong Road Maintenance issued a travel advisory for all the side roads in and around the Hazelton’s due to extremely slippery conditions. They advised that all side roads in the Hazelton, New Hazelton, Kispiox, Kitwanga and Suskwa were treacherous due to the heavy rains causing extremely icy conditions. Their attempts to make the roads safe were hampered by the rain but they have been able to make some headway with the return of the colder weather.
