Tonight Bulkley Valley residents will be treated to the sounds of the April Verch Band.
Blending Canadian, Folk, Jazz, American Old-time, Latin American and Bluegrass, the band has been described as “high energy”.
Verch was one of six fiddle players featured in the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games Fiddle Nation - Rhythms of the Fall and has released seven recordings to date.
Last night she spent some time with members of Twisted String, and tonight she will be showcasing the talents that she’s brought all across the globe with her band that has Clay Ross on guitar and Cody Walters on upright-electric bass and banjo.
