As many Hazelton residents know, the well known Riverboat in Old Hazelton had a fire this past winter which destroyed the kitchen.
However, the unfortunate event has provided a new opportunity for the boat and the next potential tenant. The Village of Hazelton has been fixing up the boat and is now putting out a request for Expressions of Interest to anyone who is interested in leasing the building. They stated that they are very committed to continuing the historic pioneer theme and they are now offering a build-to-suit opportunity to the right tenant.
Anyone who is interested is asked to send a letter to the Village of Hazelton stating the nature of the interest of the applicant, who would be involved such as the organization or people, how long they would like to lease the building, contact information and any other information deemed relevant. All submissions must be received by 4 p.m. on March 31st at the Field Street office.
