A vehicle incident on Highway 16 near Lake Kathlyn road on Saturday evening forced other motorists to take a detour for several hours.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on Feb. 3, Smithers RCMP responded to a two-vehicle crash that was blocking the highway.
The collision involved a semi-truck and a pickup truck.
The pickup truck driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. According to police, the semi-driver appeared to be uninjured.
The investigation continues and there are no further details at this time.
